1. Who We Are

SDOWNLOADER operates a free online tool that allows users to download publicly available videos and audio from supported platforms including Vimeo, Twitter/X, Twitch, Dailymotion, SoundCloud, TikTok, and Facebook.

2. Information We Collect

• URLs you submit: Used solely to extract video metadata and generate a download link. Not permanently stored — deleted automatically after 7 days.
• Server logs: Standard HTTP request data (IP address, user agent, timestamp). Retained up to 7 days for abuse prevention, then deleted automatically.
• Cookies: No first-party cookies are set by SDOWNLOADER. Our advertising partner may set cookies for ad delivery and frequency capping — see Section 7.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To process your download request.
• To detect and prevent abuse via rate limiting.
• To diagnose server errors.
• To display relevant advertisements to fund the free service.

4. Infrastructure & Third-Party Services

SDOWNLOADER uses industry-standard cloud infrastructure to operate. This includes:

• Content Delivery & Hosting: Our website and supporting edge services are delivered via globally distributed CDN infrastructure. Standard request metadata (IP, user agent) may be processed per the provider's own Privacy Policy.
• Job Queue & Database: Submitted URLs and processing status are held in a managed database during the processing window (maximum 7 days), then automatically deleted.
• Temporary File Storage: For downloads that require server-side processing, the resulting media file is held in temporary cloud storage for up to 7 days to allow download, then permanently deleted. No media files are stored indefinitely.
• Advertising: We use a third-party advertising network (Adsterra) to serve ads. Adsterra may collect standard ad-serving data. See Section 7 for details.
• Email / Contact: Messages sent via our contact form are delivered through a third-party email API. Only information you voluntarily submit in the contact form is processed.

5. Data Retention

• Job records (submitted URL + processing status): deleted after 7 days.
• Metadata cache (video info): deleted after 30 days.
• Server logs: deleted after 7 days.
• Temporary processed media files: deleted after 7 days.
• Contact form messages: retained only as long as necessary to respond.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties beyond the infrastructure services necessary to operate the Service as described in Section 4.

7. Advertising & Cookies

SDOWNLOADER is funded by advertising. A brief interstitial ad appears before each download. Our advertising partner (Adsterra) may use cookies for personalized advertising and frequency capping. You may manage your cookie preferences via your browser settings or by using an ad blocker.

8. Your Rights

We do not collect personally identifiable information beyond server logs which expire automatically. For any specific privacy request (access, deletion, portability), contact us via our contact page.

9. Children's Privacy

SDOWNLOADER is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The date above will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
